The Panchkula golf course is run by the Haryana government as part of a bigger sports complex. The golf course is also promoted by Haryana Government as part of Haryana Tourism.
History of Panchkula Golf Club
The toughest hole is hole 5 which is par 5 and covering 585 yards. The thick tree line in the golf course is proving to be tougher for the golfers with every passing year. Around 14,000 trees are planted in PGC.
The starting hole of the golf course is nice and easy that gets you warmed up. The right is all tricky with long line of trees along the fairway. If this is your first time to try golf and you do not have any accessories then you need not worry. You can rent out a golf kit and shoes for nominal price at the golf club.
